This Privacy Policy describes Pathfinder Labs, Inc. (“we”, “our”, “us”) policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information about you in connection with your use of our services, including those offered through our websites, emails, and mobile applications when available (collectively, the “Service”). When you use the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information about you as described in this Privacy Policy. “Personal information” is defined as any information collected and stored under your name.

We may collect and store personal information about you when you use the Service. We use the personal information to fulfill your requests, provide the Service’s functionality, improve the Service’s quality, personalize your experience, track usage of the Service, provide feedback to third parties that are listed on and clients to the Service, provide customer support, contact you when necessary, back up our systems and allow for disaster recovery, enhance the security of the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

Account Personal information:

If you create an account on Pathfinder Labs, we may store and use your full name, email address, zip code, and other personal information you may provide with your account, such as your gender and birth date. This personal information will not be publicly displayed with the exception of some generalizations when listing. If you believe that someone has created an unauthorized account in your name, you can request its removal by contacting us at hello@pathfinderlabs.com.

Surveys and Feedback:

Pathfinder Labs feedback, accompanying responses, surveys, and connection requests are collected and stored for the purpose of delivering analytic reports to service providers. Individual participant’s answers are not disclosed to any party except the participant recording their answer. Analytic reports aggregate all responses, and any text is deidentified and designed to protect the contributing participant’s identity. Feedback posted on the platform is done so anonymously. All text is manually reviewed prior to posting, during which an administrator will redact names or identifying details.

Communications:

When you sign up for an account or use certain features, you are opting to receive messages from Pathfinder Labs. You cannot opt out of receiving certain administrative, transactional, or legal messages from Pathfinder Labs. We may also track your actions in response to the messages you receive from Pathfinder Labs or through the Service, such as whether you deleted, opened, or forwarded such messages. If you request connection to an investor, we may track and store this personal information for follow-up. We may also store personal information that you provide through communications to us, including from phone calls, letters, emails and other electronic messages, or in person.

Activity:

We may store personal information about your use of the Service, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and so on. We also may store personal information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of the Service, such as your browser type, type of computer or mobile device, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, phone number, unique device identifier, advertising identifier, location (including geolocation, beacon based location, and GPS location), and requested and referring URLs. If you sign up for Pathfinder Labs using a third-party service like Facebook or link your Pathfinder Labs account to your account with a third-party service like Facebook or Twitter, we may receive personal information about you from such third-party service.

Business Service Providers:

We may rely on third party providers to support or provide some of the services that are available through the Service. We may also rely on third party providers to perform certain services for us in connection with your use of the Service, such as communications and hosting services, network security, technical and customer support, tracking and reporting functions, quality assurance testing, payment processing, marketing of the Service, and other functions. We may share personal information aggregated of our users with these third-party providers so that they can perform their services or complete requests. These third-party providers may share personal information with us that they obtain from or about you in connection with providing their services or completing your requests, in compliance with any applicable laws, such as no health personal information will be shared.

Business Transfers:

We may share personal information from or about you with our parent companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control, in which case we will require them to honor this Privacy Policy. As Required By Law:

We may share or disclose your personal information if we determine, in our sole discretion, that we are required to do so under applicable law or regulatory requirements, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or financial loss, or in connection with preventing fraud or illegal activity, and/or to enforce our Terms of Service.

Data Retention And Account Termination

You can close your account by selecting delete at the bottom of your profile page, or by contacting us via our contact page. We will remove your profile and/or dissociate your account profile, but we may retain personal information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by law. For example, we may retain personal information to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service or to comply with legal obligations. Additionally, Pathfinder Labs retains the right to use processed personal information for the purposes of developing the Pathfinder Labs system.

Minors

Pathfinder Labs is not directed to minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minor under 18. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us hello@pathfinderlabs.com and we will take steps to remove such personal information and terminate the minor’s account.
