Provides wellness, social, and health programs to injured Veterans and Servicemembers, as well as public and legal advocacy.

Description

Public advocates raise awareness and enlist the public's aid to assist in meeting the needs of injured service members. Benefits advocates assist with VA claims and appeals for compensation and pension. Also works with community partners to provide and present programs and opportunities for injured service members and Veterans, including performance tickets, adaptive fitness classes, and more. Injuries to qualify for services do not need to be combat related or have a VA rating, but occurred in the line of duty.
